Today brings an exciting guest post written by Alexandra Nettleton of Newington House, revealing some wonderful news.

“Newington House is delighted to announce that The Wild Fork are now part of their carefully selected and very intimate preferred caterer list. We are really looking forward to working with the fantastic team at Wild Fork to create some first class, unforgettable events.

Newington House is one of the finest private estates in England. Just an hour from London, this country home is set within 50 acres of impeccable Oxfordshire Countryside and exudes a quintessentially British grace and character. Newington House is primarily a marquee-focused wedding venue, with receptions taking place in a marquee on the back lawn. Couples get to enjoy the house as a backdrop to their reception whilst over looking the landscaped gardens and river Thame.

For the first time in it’s history, guests are warmly invited through the gates to create their own unforgettable experience within the grandeur of this stately retreat and in an atmosphere that is both relaxing and welcoming.

Newington House’s story is impossibly romantic, built in the 17th century as a gift for a homesick Italian princess by her British husband, the house is styled on Rubens’ collection of engravings, “The Palaces of Genoa”, and has been lovingly restored to the highest of standards by its current owners, the Nettleton family. This venue boasts elegance with a river that runs through the carefully maintained gardens and the extensive grounds boast a lake, a walled garden, a tennis court, meadows and woodland, altogether a perfect English setting. The beautiful grounds are transformed by the seasons, allowing for stunning photography against an array of backdrops.”
